this was a good and entertaining movie and the hate for it is extreme. i thought they did a good job of setting up the other characters and jesse eisenberg did a good job as lex luthor and ben as batman is a good fit. should be interesting to see how ben does as the main focus of a film. either way it was a good movie overall and the director's cut should be better.

I've said before that there are legit flaws worth discussing, but people are focused on the wrong shyt. When you still hung up on Martha and other stuff not difficult to understand :huhldup:..

I mean thats not even talking about the quality of the movie. Its just understanding what they were going for. Its a divisive film, so thats a negative considering what they set out for.

But I think this film will be more relevant than a number of films that came out recently years from now :manny: Time will tell.

Come with better arguments than that. I've seen people who were hype for it not like it all and those who were doubting it that really liked the film. Swiggy been more hype than anyone he only gave the movie a 6.
Even when I saw the RT score I was like shyt was probably no good, until I saw it and judged it for myself.

when you get to define the flaws that are worth discussing that kind of derails the conversation and the legitimacy of your position no? :jbhmm:

and there are numerous people in here overhyping it due to their anticipation. they been waiting for this and wanted/needed this to be great so they could shyt on marvel. this film failed them not only in terms of quality but in terms of simply being able to brag to people that enjoy marvel products. some like swiggy were able to come to terms with that, others are still going gung ho because the inferiority complex remains


there are people that love to shyt on marvel villains and actually trying to convince people that lex luther was a good villain in this :mjlol:

there are people shytting on IM3's mandarin twist and telling us to just accept the world snyder has created with a emo superman :mjlol:

people shytting on GOTG dance ending and trying to convince us batman who has been preparing to defeat superman "at all costs" for who knows how long is going to stop because they mommas got the same name :mjlol:

people shytting on dudes for stating that hold on it seems like DC may be rushing things, and then in the film they actually introduce the JL through an email in the climax :mjlol:

when a movie is working it sucks you in and you aren't even focusing on the technical aspects of it, you're just along for the ride.

but when a movie fails to do that, and leaves you alienated and indifferent, you can't help but dwell on the technical flaws and why it's not working. it's the little things along the way that completely take you out of the movie. poor dialogue, wooden acting, no logic, no momentum, etc.

but like kevin smith said, some people just don't need convincing. they are won over before the movie even begins.

Lex was just a decent villain. But he's better than most Marvel film villains outside of Loki. What does that say :manny:

I mean idk, maybe Yellow Jacket and fake Mandarin are better in your opinion

Truth is Marvel focuses more on heroes than Villains anyway. So that's just what it is. Even the Collider crew pointed that out...but hey if its a successful formula :yeshrug:

Really its only a few of yall that come in this thread on the shyt anyway. Brehs like @Jello Biafra and @bythepowercosmic seem to find a way to enjoy both.

This actress is beautiful and would've been Wonder Woman if she didn't get the Faora part. Man besides Supermans flight she was my highlight of this movie. She killed every scene she was in and caught a lot more bodies than Zod did. Zod still that dude though no hate. Her eyes brothas:banderas::ahh:

I never really got the explanation of that plan. Are they in the Phantom zone or are they dead? Can she & Stabler theoretically pop back up at some point?
