do you think chad was 100%

I have no idea only he knows that. What I do know is that he won the 1st round and looked crisp until Ward made the adjustment in which Dawson had no answer for. It's not as if Dawson looked lost from the opening bell. He had no plan b and once he seen Ward's speed and power he knew he was in trouble. Ward made the adjustments and went to plan b and Dawson only had a plan A. He called Ward out knowing he'd have to drop weight.

if this fight was at 175, ward would have still won.he's better than chad period. smarter, versatile and mentally tougher than dawson. if dawson was as great as many thought he were including me, he would have adapted once he wasn't able to land the jab on ward.chad couldn't do anything and was looking for just one big shot to turn the fight around. ward just put on a masterful performance, shyt reminded me of floyd beating chico.

At any weight Ward is a better boxer than Chad. That's why all Chad could say was he gives Ward all the credit. He knows he didn't have an excuse he was just beat by the better man.

shakespeare said that men may sometimes die, and worms will eat them... but never from love

when a fighter loses in boxing its the necessary evil of a brutal sport, but when he loses unjustly and unfairly its tragic. chad should fire whoever gave him the greenlight to do this. from the third round, he was physically gone. the stoppage, was not a stoppage, but a retirement, of an exhausted and discouraged man. i know everybody thought it was a good fight and everything but to me it was just sad to chad in that kind of state.

except that chad has very good defense so to see him getting knocked down many times and then knocked out goes against any kind of common sense. he wasnt even able to get out of the way of anything or see anything coming at him, you didnt see that and think it was strange tho

thats intresting you picked mayweather/corralles as an analogy because corrales was forced to take that fight by floyd despite his body not being able to naturally make weight for that division anymore

Not sure how it would work, but weren't they talkin about Mayweather v Ward?

I really can't see this happening at all. That's too much weight for them to compromise on, because I really don't picture Mayweather going much heavier than he already has, nor do I see Mayweather taking that much of a (ridiculous) risk either. There wouldn't really be any gain for him.

I agree. Can't see mayweather moving up and can't see Ward moving down. Even in the post fight interview, it sounded like Ward might go up to light heavyweight.
