You should definitely read it. The arc is already long as fukk in the manga, but the anime take it up a notch with atrocious pacing, recaps of previous episodes, fillers moments, scenes stretched as much as possibly can to fit into a 24 min episodes. I think each episode adapt less than a full chapter, just terriblei’m towards the end of punk hazard in the anime

This dude Oda already was stacked with shyt in Japan for One Piece.I don’t need Netflix now to start pushing shyt on him to line their pockets. That anime stuff may look good but knowing Oda, he’d probably want to perfect it.
Please finish One Piece main story first, I don’t need the goat to be distracted.
Even do some anime arc fillers for a year (I really don’t give a shyt) but just don’t lose sight of this amazing story

Whatever happens to him, it has to shake the world. But, maybe that'll have to do with one of the other things at play. We got BB pirates there, Kuma probably heading that way, a giant robot activating...a lot of random ish that haven't impacted the arc yet.
