Before Shanks lost his arm Mihawk would frequently duel with him, which means his sword fighting skills were on par with Mihawk. That's pretty much the only feat of his strength that is known so far (outside of his use of Conqueror's Haki of course).

He did spar with Whitebeard. Also had Blackbeard shook and stopped the war. Shanks top 3 strongest in one piece easily.
