It sucks he don't get the title n he loses to roman but from what I see he's in great hands

Didn't expect him to win, they trying to put over Reigns. Just really happy we got to see Styles in the top program. Actually made the main event watchable for me, which I haven't done in awhile. And with Rollins got next up with Reigns, looks like I'll be continuing to tune in.

Interesting to see what direction they go with AJ after Mitb
We all figure he is going to be in that match
He should be the odd on favorite to win with maybe Owens
Will they let him win
Will The club turn on AJ anytime soon
is Finn going to show up anytime soon and screw him
He won't get as much shine with Rollins & Cena coming back but I hope it doesn't get lost in the shuffle

first of all, he said "fukk New Day". Second of all, how are they taking a shyt on his career when he main evented 2 PPVs after only 5 months in the company? Reigns' first major feud after getting the title. Contending for the world title effectively makes you 2nd most important on the roster for 2 whole months, and that was taking a shyt on him? LOL.

I am really starting to hate wrestling fans they make us look bad. You are a fukkiing idiot if you really thought AJ was going in to this feud to win the title. Yes we all apparently wanted him to win but we need to stop equating losing to being buried or squashed or whatever. Relax quit acting like you don't know how wwe does business

It was noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that despite losing to WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules, WWE does have big plans for AJ Styles. No word yet on what they have in the works now that Reigns has apparently moved on to Seth Rollins.

AJ Styles on Working With Roman Reigns and Why He Prefers the Dry Look

You and Roman have put together a series of really great matches over the last couple months. He's a divisive star, to say the least, but do you think a lot of fans underestimate him?

Absolutely. I think he's a better athlete than a lot of people realize. He should get a lot more credit for his athleticism. He's unbelievable, he can do a lot of stuff. I think he's been able to showcase that with me. We're doing something right – I don't think people gave Roman a chance; in fact. I think a lot of fans jumped on the bandwagon when someone started booing, instead of taking the chance to see what he could do in the ring.

You're 38 – have you given any thought to retirement?

No. I know that retirement will be in a couple years. I don't know how many a couple is at this point, but the ultimate goal is the opportunity to retire [and then] do something else you're interested in. There's a lot of guys who have retired and went into podcasts or TV shows, so there's other things out there. But also you want to spend time with your family, because when you're in WWE you're gonna work for your money, and I expect to do that. But that means you'll be on the road a little more and might miss some things at home, but you get to make that up by retiring and being with them 24/7 – which might annoy them to a certain degree [laughs].

One final, very important question: A lot of WWE superstars prefer to come out with wet hair, but you go for the dry look. Is there any particular reason why?
This is 100 percent the reason why: because everyone else does it. A lot of times when someone else is doing something I'll stay as far away possible from that.

I was just thinking how stupid Rollins looked in his suit with water dripping all over it from his hair, lol.

I'm not even mad at this storyline as long as AJ at least gets a nice set of wins over Cena... they better not make it like KO who beat him once and then got buried, or Bray or Rusev who couldn't buy wins over Cena

AJ turning heel makes sense... he lost 2 title matches... then lost a MITB qualifying match clean..... if he wants to make a statement, what better than to take out a returning feudless Cena?

This is also their chance to book the Club right because no way they should've lost to the Usos that many times and ate so many Superman punches

I'm not mad at Reigns beating Styles twice, its not like they were easy wins but Styles needs this win at MITB... if not, that'd be 4 straight PPV losses and at this point he needs a W
