Reparations needs to be done at the federal level, I highly recommend you read Darrity's book "From Here To Equality".

I saw yesterday part of Cube's interview with the TBC and he was talking about his Contract with Black America. It got me wondering: has he actually read/researched any of the literature on the subject? Covenant with Black America, The Case for Reparations, ADOS101.com, Powernomics (to name a few). Why did he feel the need to write this one? I wonder.

The argument by Mitch McConnell that he and Obama both descended from slave owners, so therefore ADOS doesn't need reparations, because Obama was reparations. That argument is utter nonsense. Slave owners did receive reparations for "their losses". Also known as the "Compensated Emancipation Act".
