paging all ADOS brehs

I'm working on a paper(15+ pages) on Reparations for my capstone class to graduate with my bachelor's.

I was wondering if you all could link me to articles, both academic and editorial, that advocate for reparations for Black Americans.

I've just started William A. Darity's book From Here to Equality -Reparations for African Americans and brehs, it is a dense, dense read.

I would like to finish it and use it as a primary source but I'm looking for other sources I can draw from.

I also picked The 1619 Project and I haven't even cracked that one yet, it's over 600 pages.

I suppose I could go to the chapters most relevant to my research paper(a paper I haven't even determined the outline of yet) I could use some help from you all with how I should set that up too.

Long story short, brehs please help me find some good articles for reparations for an academic paper.

I'm starting early but I'll be taking 2 other classes and working full-time, so I need all the help I can get.

Thanks in advance :salute:
I hope I'm not too late.

I have uploaded a couple of audiobooks.

My face is Black is True. The story of Callie House and her Reparations movement.

there's a wealth of articles from Darity online, and I've got his book as well.

Thanks for helping me find more sources

Anytime.

Coates article covered some good stuff as far the Jim Crow Period.

To me Darity has the best stats and makes the simplest and most concise case for Reparations and the forms it should come in. Not a bunch of emotional stuff and not a bunch of fake revolutionary fantasy talk "the U.S. government need to give us 3 states!".

The Half Has Never Been Told is another great book filled with stats. The Chapters are very long. I will try to upload it.

Eric Foner also has great lectures and makes points about how vital slavery was to the U.S. economy.

off topic but I was wondering if any of y'all knew when Egypt ceases to be Black

I was watching a doc the other day and they mentioned The New Kingdom and I was under the assumption that's when the cacs came through(the Ptolemys, Cleopatra, etc)

also interested why north Africans are salty about Denzel playing Hannibal

Probably after the Arab invasion in the 6-700s.

Yes European Medittereans did through during the Roman era.

Some of it lack of education/history, some of it misinformation, some of it racism.

Nah, The New Kingdom was still native Egyptians.

The Greek dynasties were the last and they was European.
