Nikole Hannah Jones is now a university or professor.
I haven't read the book, but I am curious to what it says, because it had a lot of far right wing extremist upset.
So she must have done something well.
I am not familiar with her having an issue with Yvette Carnell, but I do know Tariq Nasheed did. I also know that Yvette Carnell was a board-member of a far right wing anti-immigration group run by a KKK affiliate. That could be why Nikole Hannah Jones didn't want to associate with this, if true.
To my knowledge more, if not most Black Americans think like Nikole Hannah Jones.
Apparently she has a Hulu series on the 1619 Project.
I did look up what people have been saying. It’s posted in this thread. I will repost the content on here as well.People been running with the fact that Yvette was on Pfir but to this day can't provide any connection between her and Tanton or any other person running the board financial or otherwise. As I said in my post Nicole Hannah Jones's problem with Yvette and the ADOS concept was explicitly about self identifying as our own group and not a flat black group to which there is a specific debt owed via reparations. They've had several back and forths about it on X (Twitter).
I'll say it again I'm not against anyone reading her book but her position on reparations is wrong and would only lead to failure or dilution to point that is is ineffective. That goes for all of these local reparations efforts as well.

"He corresponded with Sam G. dikkson, a Georgia lawyer for the Ku Klux Klan, who sits on the board of The Barnes Review, a magazine that, among other things, questions “the so-called Holocaust.” Dr. Tanton promoted the work of Jared Taylor, whose magazine, American Renaissance, warned: “America is an increasingly dangerous and disagreeable place because of growing numbers of blacks and Hispanics.” (To Mr. Taylor, Dr. Tanton wrote, “You are saying a lot of things that need to be said.”)".

"Durant (who did not respond to requests for comment), an African American woman and a self-described progressive, is chummy with a number of Tanton-affiliated groups. She attended a workshop hosted by The Social Contract in October and has been corresponding with Peter Brimelow, the editor of VDARE, an online publication funded in part by Tanton, about writing a piece for him. VDARE is named after Virginia Dare, the first English child to be born in the colonies, and while Brimelow refutes that the magazine's views are "white nationalist," its Web site is primarily dedicated to grumbling about multiculturalism. When I asked Brimelow if he was surprised that Durant would be willing to write for him, he responded, "You mean why she's comfortable writing for a group associated with the KKK?"

I'm confused is Durant Yvette Carnell's real name?
The source with the name Durant is not about Yvette, to my knowledge. It's about Tanton being described as a white nationalist and kkk affiliate. I don't know who this person Durant is. The other source speaks of Tanton as a Jared Taylor affiliate.I'm confused is Durant Yvette Carnell's real name?
The intentioned was not to show some unknown person named Durant, but to show who this man Tanton is affiliated with. No, but again people assume that she is some undercover white supremacist because she was involved with Pfir. No one that I have seen speaking about this has shown any evidence of a connection between her and the people running pfir. She has wanted comprehensive immigration reform for a while because of it's negative impact on low wage workers which is a significant portion of ADOS's current working class.

I’m not saying one or the other, but this is what people have been talking about. And people spoke of the sources: Progressives For Immigration Reform 900, Progressives For Immigration Reform, Form 990 - Nonprofit Explorer - ProPublica and Progressives For Immigration Reform - Nonprofit Explorer - ProPublica where she is Yvette Carnell is a director.
So I looked up the sources, and it appears she's on there. For some reason (a technical difficulty) sometimes the links don't work, so you have to look up post #324.
Yes, I just added, while you were posting this. So our posts crossed one another. (The links appear to work now). She's listed as a secretary in the bulk of the filings with no compensation.
Missed it. Hope it was informative for people.

There have been a few of them stating this…A while back I recall reading an older quote or statement from some white or Jewish official about making sure that black people are always seen as the lowest in society. Can anybody recall?
