I truly think this is the answer. BLM still has nothing to truly offer

I do have to give BLM credit for their ability to mobilize thousands of protesters. They have boots on the ground and a lot of resources it seems. Plus they've been around for about 6 years now.

I wish they would abopt a few more ADOS policy solutions. BLM is a big org and they have a lot of "intersectional" support. I think this will be one of the advantages they will have over ADOS because a lot of people are resistant and not used to ADOS blacks advocating specifically for our tribe.

They have what is needed to get a real movement going, but it still suffers from a lack of a logical cohesive goal. "Defund the police" isn't something the whole nation is going to back, and if they do its will split money in POC groups instead of Black Communities. Also there is no main spokesperson who is at the forefront to deliver a message, its unorganized in many places.

It needs proper leadership and to demand real black goals for blacks and the ADOS communities only. You don't come this far for only Police/Criminal Justice reform. Im glad their are other groups showing support but unless we get really specific the cycle won't end.

I think Alicia Garza is their national spokesperson but as far as the protests i don't know.
These protests have a lot of people talking about the disparities but not connecting it to the racial wealth gap and some form of reparations.

Sadly the CBC and NAACP are using these protests to push people to just go vote.
