James Felton Keith, candidate for NY's 13th Congressional District (West Bronx, Inwood, Harlem), I'm sorry but I think it'd be foolish to support him. He seemed open to Reparations and adopting a Black agenda, when I talked to him in January, but following his social media leads me to believe otherwise.

He tweeted this garbage recently, not to mention he insuinated that Kobe was a rapist fresh off his death, and supports reparations in the form of education for all blacks(undocumented included).

All of this is after I reached out both to him and his campaign numerous times about a black agenda(supporting Darity's edit of HR 40, mandatory minimum sentencing for race soldiers who execute blacks, etc). I repeat do not vote for this guy, and let everyone you know who lives in Harlem/Inwood/West Bronx to do the same. If elected, he'll likely go hard for LBGT and Hispanics, while not doing anything for us(basically he'd be another CBC member).

Someone school me on US politics, but wouldn't it be better for Blacks unite around a new, 3rd black party option? At around 13% of the US population I'd imagine if everyone got on code you could get at least 10% of the vote in a Presidential election but do even more damage on the local level.

Both parties haven't really done anything for blacks specifically. I wonder if having a 3rd option would be more viable.
