James Felton Keith
Boxers Washington Heights
3820 Broadway NY, NY 10032
It's from 6:30 - 8:30 tonight
Both he and the event location ain't Harlem :dame:

He's supposedly for reparations, as long as he pushes that and a black agenda, I could care less on anything else he wants to push. :dame:

I just came from James Felton Keith's event, he's a candidate for New York's 13th Congressional District seat(Harlem; Inwood, West Bronx). Long story short, I asked him about reparations exclusively for ADOS; does he support cash payments, and does he know that reparations will cost at least $10 trillion. He said yes to all of those questions w/ no hesitation. By no means am I endorsing him, but I like what I heard. He gave me his contact info, Imma see if this church around me will have him speak, if the church agrees, I'll invite y'all and feel free to invite other folks who live in the 13th district.

If you don't know if you live in the 13th district, here's a map below that outlines the district.

@Captain_Crunch you ever thought of getting involved in politics? I believe you could make/bring some real change, especially in NYC for the ADOS there.

Nah :hubie:
I rather just network w/ other ADOS in my area(already in a NYC chapter, just gotta start hitting up the NAACP) and make these candidates do our bidding :hubie:

Ahhhh.NAH.

I want him to state that if he is elected President - he would support reparations and work with a commission to create a Plan and fight to get it approved.

Isn't that what he does... create plans? So, you want Black Americans to create a plan too? LOL.

I didn't want to open the door to fukkery. So I'm asking here. Do you really believe that Aframs shouldn't be the ones to create a plan (1 of many) for reparations? You really want to leave that in the hands of others?

We should be included YES -- but experts, specialist, scholars, lawyers, economists, historians need to lay out what was done and how we were affected and what is due first.

Then a multi-faceted plan -- a multi-generational plan will then be created -- and YES we should be the majority present in creating such plan.

Are you saying -- Bernie and his team couldn't work with the best of the best to help create such plan?

Those in that thread want a random Black person with not expertise to throw out a number. It's experts, scholars that do this. Sandy Darity, Mr. Hamilton, the many Black historians, the Just Mercy Lawyer.....

No. I'm saying that it shouldn't be Bernie and his team --solely-- that come up with the plan. I would rather it come from Afram experts, historians, and academics. Then if necessary negotiate with the gov't.

Yes -- but Bernie and his team should be present -- or atleast know what's going on -- cause he would have to sign off and help push it.

So, it's no issues with him going forward.

I'm not sure if this was posted here already. This article is long as hell but addresses the "black capitalism" and "enterprise zones" con gam Conservatives have used on blacks in the past.

A Bad Check for Black America
Nixon’s embrace of “black capitalism” was a canny move that ultimately decimated the black community and turned the wealth gap into a wealth chasm.

A Bad Check for Black America

If people like Tariq would read articles like these he wouldn't be praising Trump for those fool's "tangibles".

That's why they should negotiate with them.... after they research it and write it.
