Multigenerational mix. Mother or father was probably a multigenerational mulatto that married a white person. Mulattoes tend to marry other mulattoes even when they identify as black.

This list is funny style. In Florida for instance a few cites have. JUST AS MANY IF NOT more Caribbean blacks than ADOS.
The list was made using Census data. The Census only allows you to list yourself as Black, not ADOS or otherwise. But in most cities, the majority of the population will be ADOS.
Miami black population is 1/3 black immigrant.
I wonder what the Bronx or Brooklyn is.
But I don't know if it is 51% or more black immigrant out of the black population in any major city in the US.

Brooklyn is like 30% Black. So I'm guessing 15% ADOS?
Black Americans of Carribean descent do seem to be highly prominent and over represented in NY Hip Hop and Hip Hop media industry.
