Say word. Think about it: With guys like Carry Grant, Jimmy Stewart, Marlon Brando, Gene Hackman, even Tom Cruise back in the day, the appeal was you only saw them from afar. You didn't get any intimate looks into their lives or thoughts or get the chance to see them whenever you want. In a world where Kim Kardashian is a star for doing nothing except get naked in video with her ex boyfriend and a reality tv show, what is there really to be enamored about when it comes to fame? Anyone can be famous now.

Let's take Tom Cruise: Edge of Tomorrow didn't do well but the next mission impossible will. Clooney's last few movies haven't done well: Monuments Men, The American. Leatherheads..but the Descendants did well, Ides of March did ok, and even tho he was barely in Gravity, that did extremely well. So it's not about the audience saying they don't want to see George Clooney, it's them saying they want to see him in certain movies and the same goes with Tom Cruise and any other star. It's not a novelty to see these people anymore so why not pick and choose when you see them and how?
Without a doubt. I was just think thinking back to when I was a kid, and I wanted to see Broken Arrow just because John Travolta was in it. It was a huge deal. Now since who wants to marry a millionaire and richard hatch of survivor (who remembers that) Anyone can be famous for any reason. Seems like the public wants what it wants. Right now thats hero movies and now that leads to people like myself saying there no ideas in Hollywood anymore, that is problem not true the it looks so.
Not sure about NPH so far.....great opening number though
Weak crowd and few a-listers this year...
