🔥 Moises Ballesteros - 290 wRC+, 4.2 K%, 16.7 BB%, 2 HR, 2 XBH: Video. Game. Numbers. The Cubs' top catching prospect currently sports a 172 wRC+ on the season; is striking out around 13% of the time; sports a 90th-percentile exit velocity in the 85th percentile among Triple-A batters; and has an 84th-percentile hard-hit rate. If the Cubs weren't leading the league in offense and didn't have excellent production from first base, catcher and the designated hitter spot right now, Ballesteros would probably be a lot closer to taking a spot than he is right now.

Makes no sense for Justin turner to be on this roster when this cat 21 in triple a doing this

These #’s are insane dude is an elite hitter

Slashing 388/430/998 ops on the season

bob costas needs to retire. he just said the phillies beat the mets in the playoffs last year and when corrected insisted he was right.
In the 90s I couldn’t understand why people didn’t like Bob Costas.

Now I find him insufferable. Even when I agree with him on something, he just has a way of coming across so smug.

Not to mention my biggest issue with his broadcasts: he never shuts up. You gotta let the game breathe. Every second doesn’t need to be filled with talking.

You could remake the Major League movies in 2025 with the current Colorado Rockies lineup.

If you recognize those guys you’re a hardcore baseball fan.

I'm usually aware of a handful of the position players on the Rockies. But could probably only name two pitchers on the team without looking at the roster.

But I also have a couple of crazy 20 team fantasy leagues so you're scraping for guys with regular playing time. So you looking for those who the fukk is that guy finds

Immaculate grid this morning was asking for who played for the Washington Nationals & Philadelphia Phillies, and who played for the Washington Nationals & LA Dodgers.....

Pull this out of my head:

Nationals were formerly the Expos, Pedro pitched for the Expos and finished with the Phillies in 2009. ✅

Pedro was traded for Delino DeShields, who went from Montreal to the Dodgers. ✅
