Moises Ballesteros - 290 wRC+, 4.2 K%, 16.7 BB%, 2 HR, 2 XBH: Video. Game. Numbers. The Cubs' top catching prospect currently sports a 172 wRC+ on the season; is striking out around 13% of the time; sports a 90th-percentile exit velocity in the 85th percentile among Triple-A batters; and has an 84th-percentile hard-hit rate. If the Cubs weren't leading the league in offense and didn't have excellent production from first base, catcher and the designated hitter spot right now, Ballesteros would probably be a lot closer to taking a spot than he is right now.
In the 90s I couldn’t understand why people didn’t like Bob Costas.bob costas needs to retire. he just said the phillies beat the mets in the playoffs last year and when corrected insisted he was right.
I'm usually aware of a handful of the position players on the Rockies. But could probably only name two pitchers on the team without looking at the roster. You could remake the Major League movies in 2025 with the current Colorado Rockies lineup.
If you recognize those guys you’re a hardcore baseball fan.

Now I find him insufferable. Even when I agree with him on something, he just has a way of coming across so smug.
Not to mention my biggest issue with his broadcasts: he never shuts up. You gotta let the game breathe. Every second doesn’t need to be filled with talking.
