Folks fail to realise that soccer players may not have the burst of American football or Basketball, but they are likely fitter. They just run longer and do just as much. Pretending that elite athletes aren't required or that US elite athletes don't play football is funny.

Relatively. Only 14 gold but 22 Silver and 27 Bronze.
There is probably some concern for track and field, but considering the age of the athletes, it's a good base for 2028.
