It never fails, every WC, every Olympics, that debate pops up :russ:
7 miles a game with sprint bursts not to mention unable to use your hands.

Folks fail to realise that soccer players may not have the burst of American football or Basketball, but they are likely fitter. They just run longer and do just as much. Pretending that elite athletes aren't required or that US elite athletes don't play football is funny.

I thought NBC would re-air the basketball game but they haven’t. Glad I caught it live, even tough to missed most of the second half (except the last few minutes).

If I’m still up I’ll check out the women’s game.
