I think it's shortsighted because there's more money in Soccer than in the NFL/NBA... You have almost a zero chance of making an NBA roster. If you're good, you can play and make money overseas but it's not that much...

With soccer, there's literally 100 clubs overseas where you can make millions of dollars... UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, etc.. all have leagues where players are making millions

Yea but we have to completely revamp the youth program in the US first.
