Olympic hoops is basically about spot up shooting and controlling the boards. Smaller court, closer 3 point line, and a traditional zone (can pack the paint with no violations) all translates to far less spacing for 1v1 compared to the NBA.

it’s tough because teams just zone and wall off the paint when they do try and let Giannis initiate from the perimeter. Greece just doesn’t have much talent outside Giannis, there is nothing they can do to compete with the top teams
