Hardy was already slipping but falling to round 2 was crazy.

Holland to me can still go really high depending on how the draft shakes out, but him dropping shouldn't be a surprise. If he can't shoot there's no reason to give him the ball and he's kinda bet his entire career on being a bucket.

Matas to me can't go lower than 7 now even though I'm not super high on him.

I'm just now remembering that the 1st round will air on 6/26 at 8p and the 2nd round will air on 6/27 at 4p ET.

I hope this works well with good analysis/storytelling about the 2nd rounders, since we're seeing stars and solid players come out of it every year now.

They are saying that top of the 2nd round will have more value because teams will have more time to assess who dropped and will target players there for trades,

meanwhile I think Silver is trying to milk everything he can for that tv packages he is selling.
