I haven’t been tuned into MLB that much in the early going. I’m a Dodgers fan and I follow the Braves. Kind of feel like the expanded playoffs have killed my interest. Teams aren’t rewarded for achieving in the regular season. Makes it hard to care about the first half of the season

In a way, but I don't think anyone really looks at the standings til this weekend anyway unless you're either super elite or ass.

It is a CRIME that Jose Ramirez is still not even at $20M per year.

That 7yr $140M extension he signed in 2022 was too just for security, I’m sure, but wtf is this agency he’s signed with, Republik Sports??

They barely have a website or a LinkedIn page - Republik Sports

I know CLE’s payroll is just under $100M but damn, my guy is underpaid.

MLB is in a bad spot, to me. There's eight teams with terrific records and the other 22 are basically .500 or worse.

The league batting average across the sport is .240 right now; OPS is .699.

I don't want to hear how amazing pitching is as the reason few people can hit. I believe there's a talent and coaching problem.
