It's not even just the blowouts, it's the fact/opinion that better teams were left out. Teams who got the easier schedules got rewarded and thats Tennessee as well. They played 2 teams all year that finished with 8 wins. Sure they beat Bama by 7 at home, but they also lost by 14 to Georgia, lost to a 6-6 Arkansas, and only beat one sec opponent by more than 13 points.

Blowouts will happen no matter the format, but theres too much of a chance that fraud teams will make up too much of the field under this format.

Bama was BLOWN OUT by 6-6 OU
Lost to VANDY

"better" 3 loss teams shouldn't even be in the conversation.

To me that shows the system is flawed because those teams shouldn't have an argument. Yes they might be "better" than 1 loss IU or whatever, but the fact is a CFB shouldn't have so many mid tier teams in it.

You know It’s kinda annoying seeing Ohio state and Oregon get grace for their bad performances but people hold our “bad” performances against us like it makes us overrated. It seems nobody factors in that this Clemson game is probably the first game since UTSA we’ve been the most healthy.

Why wouldn’t it? Even the nfl has a lot of mid teams
