They already got a qb tho
Lebby was the OC at OU when they recruited him. They were afraid he would leave with Lebby when he got that Miss St. job which is why they pretty much handed QB1 to him. Now he might end up there anyway, will be interesting to see if Van Buren around if that happens. He could compete and if he loses his job he could still leave in the Spring.

Might as well figure out a way to turn these trash ass meaningless bowls into some kinda playoff too...
Offer up financial incentives and cash payouts for the winner. :manny:

If $500,000 is enough money to get NBA players to care about an in-season tournament, then $30k is enough to get CFB players to care about bowl games.

They already get payouts for winning the bowls. I guess it'd have to be be directly towards NIL instead of to the school

You definitely gonna have to make it a way where the money is getting to the players' hands.
Def. It still won't make those random bowls all that interesting.

A game like Toledo vs. Pitt has zero bearing anything. Either do any of the other non playoff games at this point. Every 6-6 team really doesn't need to be in a bowl game, until they figure out a way for it to be some kinda playoff to get an at large bid. Then a random team that's 6-6 could get hot, win 3-4 games and have a chance.

They'll complain that it's too many games, but DII does this with 28 teams, so there's a way
