Howard played good all year. Didn’t yesterday. Day and Chip pissed the bed as well. Upset happened and now we on to the playoffs.

Yeah he picked a great day to not be stellar, but the play calling was tight and he was tight, i have no doubt this was all day and chip was just there today because you literally looked night and day

Maybe so, but he was clearly in over his head last year. I never got that feeling with Howard, a few braindead mistakes aside.

And besides that, those things you can't see, they weren't there with McCord. "It's just another game" and all of that. That doesn't work here.

I put the onus on Day/Chip yesterday more than I do Howard anyhow. INTs aside, they did not let him go down slingin'.

We saw what he did with the up tempo right before the half & never went byke to it again. He didn't even get a proper shot to me imo. Day wrapped up about being soft & running the ball & not utilizing NFL WRs against a makeshift secondary.

As for the offense yesterday, you knew at the very least you got senior plus level play out of howard, but as i said with my response to Smitty, man played tight and Day coached tight, because all y’all versatility went out the door, he was literally on some harbaugh cte throw a steel chair against a wall type shyt, there was times I’m sitting there like when are they about to crank up this passing game or do some qb runs (i understand taking it easy on those due to playoffs and needing Howard healthy but atleast one or two to keep us honest) but never came, Day starting to remind me of Franklin in big games where he just complicates things in high pressure situations, and the one adult in the room (chip) got told to fall in line because nothing about that, was him, not the way shyt looked night and day. I expect y’all to be better opening round

There was enough of us to make some noise. I always say Kyle Field is the most overrated college football environment. Game was lit, their crowd was out of it most of the first half. Ewers mistakes got them back in to it. But I swear that place isn't as loud in person as it comes across on TV. Fans were cool at the beginning when they thought they had a chance, by halftime they realized they likely weren't going to score and the shyt talking stopped, by the end of the game they wanted to fight.

Again, bro coaches scared. That's why we saw what we did yesterday. And that's why I can't hold Howard to the fire too much cuz his coach didn't put him in position to at least go down fighting.

0 targets for Jeremiah in the 2nd half. That's...beyond unacceptable. And it wouldn't be like that vs Oregon, Indiana, Michigan St or even Penn St. But against y'all? He loses his mind.

And Idk know if I can say that wasn't Chip cuz he been a lil funny in the light his past few games albeit a creative design or two. We ain't had these slow starts for no reason. But Day empowered him so whether it was him or not, it was him .

And as for Kyle, he was recruited highly for a reason so it's not like there just isn't any skill there at all. I mean, he showed that last night & all season. But some people need change of scenery and/or less expectations to thrive. This is a 24/7 pressure cooker.

I just ain't wit all the revisionist shyt like it wasn't Honda McCord this & that all last yr like it would've been simple as run it byke wit him this yr & we go UP UP big time.
