I'd take Franklin at UF in a heartbeat. He might end up getting the Mark Richt treatment after 10 years or so, but I'd be content with someone who isn't a total moron keeping us above sea level for a while.shyt is nuts man

Pods are a step in the right direction. But you still end up with 4 teams that win their pod and you have to pick 2 for the CCG.Pods are gonna be the eventual answer. I do like no divisions with the SEC especially, just because the real SEC teams played each other so sparingly as we got later in the 2000s. But unfortunately, we got the Big 12 schools now too so it's completely out of wack. Pods are the only option now

Especially in this 12 team playoff era. That'll get you in more often than not. And once you're in, who knows? With all this parity in the NCAA this year maybe things can happen in the playoffs...Having your program consistently hit 10 wins is a beautiful thing
They beat Ohio State, Won the Big Ten, and went 11-2 that season
shyt is nuts man
I could see if it was like when LSU couldn’t beat Bama. They have the same level of talent.
That isn’t the case with Penn State & Ohio State.
At this point I'd be in favor of the conferences having their own 4 team playoffs to determine a conference champ, and the College Football playoffs being reduced to 6 or 8 teams.
Right….Cause Urban didn’t have ZEKEHe had him for more than one season
And it literally came down to a blocked fg return, and if i remember right we stomped them that year or one of them years at any rate with that cheat code he should have had urban across his knee (pause)
the specific hate is that he does not win big games. So, lets examine that:I don't get why Franklin gets so much hate. I get that he can't get over the hump, but people act like he's a total garbage ass coach or something.
On the other hand, Billy Napier looks halfway competitive for a few quarters because Carson Beck is a retard and loses by 2 TDs and motherfukkers are suddenly talking about how "great of a job he's doing" when he's 1-10 against ALL his rivals, not just the conference rival that has the most resources and talent year after year. It's wild.
no it isn't.Having your program consistently hit 10 wins is a beautiful thing
osu recruits more elite WRs/RBs/QBs than penn state. Other positions they're equal.Going by NFL output I don’t think Penn st talent level is that inferior to a team like OSU
We lose every important and unimportant game of the season under Napier.the specific hate is that he does not win big games. So, lets examine that:
vs. osu: 1-10
vs. Michigan: 3-7,
bowl games 4-5 [wins in Pinstripe, fiesta, cotton, and rose; losses in Taxslayer, Rose, Citrus, Outback, Peach
nobody hates him for anything but that...but this...fukkin matters
if you're cool with your team going 10-3 / 11-2 every year and losing every important game every season yeah, you're welcome to be Auburn / aTm / Ole Miss / Notre Dame but Penn State fans want more it seems...understandably.
