I've decided I'm not a fan of these big ass conferences. There is way too much variance in schedules and I say that knowing Texas got an easy ass SEC schedule this year and next year too.

At this point I'd be in favor of the conferences having their own 4 team playoffs to determine a conference champ, and the College Football playoffs being reduced to 6 or 8 teams.
Pods are gonna be the eventual answer. I do like no divisions with the SEC especially, just because the real SEC teams played each other so sparingly as we got later in the 2000s. But unfortunately, we got the Big 12 schools now too so it's completely out of wack. Pods are the only option now

How? Oregon OSU Indiana are more worthy ESPECIALLY if iu beats osu. I can't see all four make it.

Penn state should be on the bubble. They’re going to have one of weakest resumes in the top 25
Should be but they ranked #6 in AP and still in front on Indiana.. They might get that coveted #5 spot in playoff (where you get home playoff game then play #4 at large team which would be byu or something if Im not mistaken, #5 spot is sweet spot to final 4)

I think the committee is going to move a lot of teams above them. SMU has a better resume

How would pods work?

I think end of season dynamic scheduling is the only fix. Move rivalry week up 3 weeks and then have the tops play each other

‘’they will never do it but the conference chip makes no sense anymore

Good for SMU but its crazy they came straight to the ACC from the G5 and will potentially play in the conference championship game already. The ACC is a pathetic conference that needs to go away

They beat Ohio State, Won the Big Ten, and went 11-2 that season :what:
I don't get why Franklin gets so much hate. I get that he can't get over the hump, but people act like he's a total garbage ass coach or something.

On the other hand, Billy Napier looks halfway competitive for a few quarters because Carson Beck is a retard and loses by 2 TDs and motherfukkers are suddenly talking about how "great of a job he's doing" when he's 1-10 against ALL his rivals, not just the conference rival that has the most resources and talent year after year. It's wild.

shyt is nuts man

I could see if it was like when LSU couldn’t beat Bama. They have the same level of talent.

That isn’t the case with Penn State & Ohio State.
