Dude, if nikkas did an honest look at their program and how many times they wiffed/a mf transfer out they’d be more cynical of this recruiting shyt Mf’s that was can’t miss def missed

Leave it to beaver ass nikka

I guess that's what makes recruiting fun is that you expect all these guys to hit, be future pros and shyt and elevate the program. I'm especially cynical now, b/c these dudes can always bounce out at any given time, even mid season.

Michigan 2024 has the best defensive players from 2023 looking like the defense from 2008.

Xs and Os > Jimmys and Joes....all day

And when we had ol boy and minter they took what we had and did massive work

Look no further than nick a Kirby the talent allows them to do even more

Having a good dl with no rotation doesn’t help
Dbs missing assignments doesn’t help
Having an offense not turn the ball over every 10 seconds helps
Sustaining drives helps
I’m not a wink apologist, but we not exactly putting him in a position to judge if he’s good or bad, never mind the gap between how you can coach nfl vs college and what you install

This is why teams be getting fukked over because fans only care bout the rankings not actual film. That’s the one thing saban was so great at he would find 3 star dudes who were really 5 stars if you watched the tape. It’s no way in the world these sites have the time or resources to look at film of all the players in the country and accurately rank them

Nick def watched tape but he also had a wealth of Mf’s in the building to see if they was good, on top of kids going grey shirt just to get in the building, but he wiffed too

I'm wondering why this is so different compared to hoops? Seems like these days there are less and less "players from the hood" in high level basketball, most are from middle class or working class families at the very least. You don't see as many dudes the hood like there were even 10-12 years ago.

Is it purely #s or maybe the geographic regions the players come from? b/c hoopers seem to always have handlers/AAU coaches, etc. attached to them once they're like 14?

PSL at one point had the most pros, and is still top 3 or 4. Yet, I don't think there's a single (current) NBA player from a Detroit public school. Pershing used to have a 5* player every few seasons and always had high 4*s all the up til like 2011 or so.

Travel ball expensive so the barrier is different, you also starting to see a lot of kids of cats that hooped at some point jump in the mix too, but the myth of the hood kid with talent is a dying one anyway, a lot of kids are middle class
