Braves really need to add another starting pitcher. They lost a lot of innings between Fried and Morton.
These motherfukkers ain't even trying.fukking bozos paid him and that old guy from Japan almost the same as Burnes is making this year.
I hate it had to be @Trips

BunkString, McNulty and Omar deserve better
The Red Sox are about to be back as elite contenders. Best top tier prospect talent in the league. .
This is the only league where teams don't try when they get good. I wonder what the difference is...Orioles front office might as well be spitting on the face of their fans right now, only team Charlie Morton should be on is the A's or maybe the Savannah Bananas, come on. They better hope they get off to a good start to the season because all the new fans they made the past 2 seasons might not come out if they start out mediocre.
Same goes for Detroit.

Morton is hittable and can eat innings if allowed. But, Hyde is also really all over the map on how he manages the rotation/bullpen. There are going to be games where Morton is getting lit up and Hyde is just going to keep him in. And then there are going to be days where Morton seems to be turning it around and he's going to pull him early. I think Morton will match his start count, but I don't feel he's going to be the innings eater he has traditionally been. This was a meh move period.I mean...I'm sorta cool with this. Last 4 years he averaged 30+ starts, and he was old then, too. So if nothing else I'm counting on him being an innings-eater. Probably better than Verlander and (much as I love the guy) Mad Max at this point.
This can't be a wrap for SP this offseason, though. Hoping a trade is in the works. They didn't get Burnes 'til last February, so I'm optimistic.
