I'm not buying Brandon Miller at 2 even if the idea is that Miller fills a need. They have 4 picks in a 15 pick span between 27 and 41. I think many wings will fall once if not twice. Use the 2nd pick to take the best player. Fill needs and stash everywhere else and still come out with a good group of players. If they wanted to add a PG at 27, he might not be there.

I've never really been high on Whitmore. He lives off his HS pedigree and Villanova's pedigree which really doesn't have any correlation to him. Jay Wright wasn't there. They didn't win. He didn't pass. I think the guys who tried to play hurt are gonna get knocked down in this draft (So Whitmore, George, Smith) they're gonna wonder why they didn't just take the rest of the year off.

Scoot needs New Orleans. 8 is the earliest pick for a team who needs an unquestioned PG (assuming Houston signs Harden). The likelihood is that he's gonna go somewhere that stunts how he starts his career.

Grizzlies trade up every year and I forget about it every year and end up looking at the wrong range of draft picks

trades just don't happen often, especially early on because teams get scared. 2019 there were plenty of deals (and yes @triplehate Memphis loves making deals just to make deals).
The last non lotto pick Memphis made that they kept was Wade Baldwin. Yeah y'all ain't staying at 25.
