that’s kinda my point, what you getting for the 7th pick that’s moving the needle

You better off just trying to build through draft
there's a very real chance that there's no high floor wing left on the board at 7 though.

its not a stretch in thinking either imo - getting as much as they can out of the pick before they're stuck taking a BPA big or guard that's gonna be struggling for time behind their established guys.

they're kinda screwed either way. but selling high on a draft pick before it becomes a 'occasional flashes young guy' is something teams do a lot in weak lottery classes.
OG for Buddy Hield, #7, #26 and #29 works. Who knows what the fukk Masai is going to do though? He wanted 5 picks for OG at the trade deadline when OG can't dribble the ball, ridiculous
masai should've took off while he still looked like a genius :mjlol:

Amen Thompson is the riskiest prospect I’ve ever loved. So many red flags but I’m riding with him. I think he can really be special. But there’s no middle ground for him. He’s either show some insane flashes and be incredible from the jump, or be a quick bust ( :dame: )
Last I heard blazers were considering him over miller

the biggest smokescreen so far has been scoot and miller being neck to neck. probably because charlotte can lean on whatever portland asked for - because portland basically *has* to trade the pick - then pull the rug or plainly ask for less

i've always thought the twins were closer to miller than miller was to scoot

Yep, who is on the board at #7? Gradey dikk? Taylor Hendricks? Jarace Walker? There's a chance none of those guys won't end up being anything when they all have significant flaws. Gradey dikk might not be able to defend anyone at the next level. Taylor Hendricks is 6'9 and has trouble finishing at the rim sometimes. Jarace Walker can't shoot and can be timid on the offensive end. I totally get why a team like the Pacers would want an established wing instead.

Masai definitely proving he was a student of Bryan Colangelo these last few years. Trading 1st round picks for mediocre/distressed assets. Letting guys go for nothing. Becoming emotionally attached to "his guys".

I would rather gamble on that pick, who is really available through trade

I’m really interested in what happens at 3. All the major bandits have penned Miller into that spot but it wouldn’t shock me at all if they go Amen or Cam. Other than wanting to trade the puck I haven’t heard them being in love with any prospect
