I'm offering Zion in addition to a top 10 pick in last year's draft and 2 firsts.
To move up to 2, Houston would need to move 4/Bari/one of the Brooklyn picks, and that won't work because I don't think Charlotte has anyone in mind at 4.
You believe in Scoot that much?

It's not about that. It's about it being a 3 person draft and they don't wanna have the fourth pick. Charlotte right now only has to worry (at least for #2) about 2 players. At 4, now you gotta do homework on the rest of the lottery.

It’s been talk that some teams view Amen as a higher potential prospect than Scoot.

He’s 6’2 and he can shoot remember he’s playing against better competition and shooting from the real 3 pt line. And he also is the lead ball handler for his team.

I know you aren’t riding this prospect just because of the school he went to? It comes down to values. Do you value a potential superstar PG or do you want a potential star wing. Either way it goes Lamelo Ball/Terry Rozier or whatever other players are currently on the hornets roster are irrelevant.

You also have to consider some additional aspects when it comes to marketing and I could be tripping but this dude Scoot seems to have “It” not that it matters for on court production. But I were purchasing a team I think scoot may move a bit more merch. If that’s relevant.
here's the thing too - when Miller played better comp, his numbers fell off dramatically

Miller 2FG:
all teams: .483
vs top 50: .385

and on top of that, ppl have been pointing out the spacing between the two teams as well; /

Scoot was arguably Ignite's best shooter this season too :dead: john jenkins damn sure wasn't it. 22-23, scoot shot 47% "scoot can't shoot" and "scoot's volume isn't the same" are VERY different statements

and let me preface this by saying I *like* miller. But his growing pains line up exactly with what we already went through with Miles and Miles is a finished product on a discount at this point. If its BPA, then Scoot's playing better comp at a younger age and behind a real three point line.

and lets go shot charts too ftr

again, i *like* miller. but a 6'9 guy that's not on the high end of active/productive beneath the 3pt line is plainly not taking full advantage of his size.

i don't think scoot is some can't miss guy, neither is miller. but bpa and upside? the answer is a slight edge to scoot. fit? lamelo has had middling guards have career high or resurgence years when he's run a 3 guard lineup.

What happened with Mile’s FA is he a RFA, UFA or a qualified offer? I mean besides him being a piece of shyt what is he.

we're bringing him back almost certainly. we've had his rights the whole time, but he's definitely not getting that near max he was slated to see before crashing out
He’s lucky to be a NBA player so I expect that he’ll take whatever at this point.

Lamelo
Ingram
Miles
Williams

They can take a swing at 14 for a SG

Meanwhile pelicans can promote Trey Murphy to the starting sf role. Also a chance the hornets do this trade for Murphy outright….
