Spin from a Twitter question: Which CFB play made y’all stomach drop?

There’s many but this one stands out, cause I knew Manziel was good but goddamn that’s when I knew we was in trouble that day. My dad was outside on the phone and he came back in when we was down 20-0 and he wasn’t even a Bama fan and he said “what the hell? :wtf:

I think it was okorn throwing the int we were so close too

Serious question for the Primers: how much time does he get cause I have an unpopular opinion if y’all answer the way I believe y’all will.
You can say it. This shyt gonna explode right before our eyes. I see it like the Juwan situation at UM.. as much as I wanted to see it work, I think dude moves on when his sons graduate. (Similar to Juwan at UM) I dont see A) Prime wanting to stay in cold ass Colorado, and B) him being able to recruit blue chip athletes there.

I think he'll pull a Mel Tucker and jump at the first (respectable) southern school that offers him the bag. Because it's obvious he can coach. I just don't think he got the patience to build it up, from the ground on up.

Can he :jbhmm:? Whenever I ask someone what his philosophy is, I get crickets. Having absurdly more talent than your comp isn’t indicative of how good of a coach you are (see Dabo…who without his assistants is nothing but a keynote speaker at a pep rally). I just want to know what’s the standard because you can’t say “wait until he gets his guys” cause he has his. That entire roster will be flipped come kickoff against TCU. So I just wanna know what the next excuse will be cause I’ve seen folks go from the extreme ofbeing bowl eligible in year one to “well 2 wins is an improvement.”

Yea, the majority of this, I cant answer. I don't know enough. In the same breath tho, I think it takes a decent coach to be able to keep a team together. Especially when you know damn well his sons didn't have to battle for the PT they got. They very well could've been the best players they had.. but when other cats see positions being given away like that.. it tends to piss dudes off. Hence why I think a majority of them kids already transferred out.

They're gonna get smacked against TCU. We'll see how Prime can deal with reality when that happens. Will he go the humble route? Or will he blame others? We're gonna just have to wait and see.

This part. It's easy to pop off and be all braggadocios when you're not the one who'll have to step on the field and answer for it.

I want to see Deion be successful but I feel that his mouth is starting to write checks that his team will not be able to cash. No offense but this is not the SWAC and these other programs got the funds and the resources to easily compete with Colorado. Just build quietly, show results on the field and other will respect it and come to work and join him.

That game was when I knew Dak was for real

The entire last 2 minutes + OT almost had me drop numerous f bombs in front of my grandma :francis:

Still wild to me how dude pussed out in the NFL

Crazy how Luck went out, everybody was certain he was gonna be a 1st ballot HOF with multiple SBs.

Both but the int at :58 made me know Joe Milton ain’t shyt and michigan gonna be trash that year. Probably the worst INT ive ever seen.

Milton was god awful, he looks better now though since he’s in a Mickey Mouse offense.

are yall this high on fsu this year. i saw this article saying they built nicely thru the portal

Jordan Travis getting Heisman consideration.
i saw this 1 tweet with them being in the Rose Bowl

Can Florida State football win it all thanks to the transfer portal?

“This is a team that should be talked about,” coach Mike Norvell said Sunday. He’s right.
TAMPA — The poker chips at the check-in table at Florida State coach Mike Norvell’s speaking stop Sunday felt like a fitting symbol for his fourth season with the Seminoles. FSU is all in. “This is a team that should be talked about,” Norvell said an interview with a small group of reporters before the Seminole Boosters On Tour event at the Tampa Marriott Water Street. “What we do with that, it’s on us.”
We won’t know what the Seminoles will do with those expectations until their Sept. 3 blockbuster showdown against LSU in Orlando.
We do, however, know how Norvell and his Seminoles got to their ACC-title-or-bust 2023: by using the transfer portal as well as any team in the country.
