This is an awful take on multiple levels

Why would OSU be #4 over Oregon and Texas who both have better wins than them?

OSU beat Notre Dame and Penn State, that's better than Oregon beating Oregon State and Utah.

Texas beating Alabama, Kansas, and Kansas State is arguably better wins, but losing to Oklahoma is also a worse loss

Anyway, Oregon/Texas each have a quality win left to pick up and Ohio State doesn't, so the argument is irrelevant. If either one wins their CCG, there is zero chance that tOSU jumps them. tOSU only goes to the playoff if Oregon, FSU, and Texas all lose.....and they probably need Alabama to lose too.

[actually, just cause selectors are proven idiots, tOSU might jump UW with a UW loss, but that would be ridiculous. UW would have wins over #3 Oregon, #15 Arizona, #20 Oregon State, and ~#25 Utah, and they'd have tOSU pass them solely off of #10 Penn State and #17 Notre Dame?]

Most interesting question is if Oregon, FSU, Georgia, and Texas did all lose....do selectors go with Georgia or tOSU in the 4th slot?

Georgia
Michigan
Washington
Texas
Bama
Oregon
OSU

Idk why ppl keep overrating Oregon.

I gotta be honest, Oregon has been overrated all season. It's bizarre because the rest of the Pac-12 outside of USC has been underrated all season. It's blatantly obvious that the voters/selectors value name and image over actual accomplishments.

Rankings today should be

1. Michigan
2. Georgia (if they beat bama they will #1 again)
3. Washington
4.Ohio State (they loss 1 game close on the road to the #1 or 2 ranked team in the nation. Also they would be favorite over 5-8.)
5. Oregon
6. Texas
7. FSU (no hate they just arent the same team without travis.)
8. Alabama (barely beating an auburn team that lost at home to New Mexico Fukking State)

Of course if oregon and texas win they both should jump OSU

I agree with almost all of it, but what has Georgia done to deserve being over Washington?

Washington has wins over Oregon, Arizona, Oregon State, Utah, and played a tougher OOC schedule than Georgia did. Georgia beat Missouri, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and had one of the worst OOC schedules in the nation. Can't use UW's close wins against them when Georgia didn't look impressive against Georgia Tech, South Carolina, Missouri, or Auburn.

Hard to know where to rank FSU, but if they're undefeated they go. They were willing to schedule LSU and Florida and beat them both (killed LSU, beat Florida on the road without their quarterback), plus they'd also have wins over Louisville and Clemson? You can't take that away from them. No one ever gets penalized for losing any other player, the qb shouldn't be a special case.

Oregon are 10 points favorite over Washington???

:dahell: :dahell: :dahell:

Everyone likes the "eye test", and Oregon has dominated everyone they've faced the last six weeks in what was supposed to be a damn tough stretch (at one point WSU, USC, Utah, and OSU were all ranked). The fact that most of those teams were overranked is ignored, the fact that UW beat UO before that six-week stretch started is ignored.

I would favor Oregon too, and maybe they'll win by more than ten, but that's probably a bigger spread than is justified.
