This is inexcusable. There is absolutely no material reason that they should not be on par with LSU and Georgia. They have the money, the alumni base and facilities.
Florida traditionally aren’t on the level of Georgia and Alabama And probably slightly above LSU.

They are two Spurrier eras and the correctional facilities period away from being Ole Miss status.

i don't even know what you mean by that, all due respect

lets reset

what do you think makes a school have a successful college football program?
My point is those schools, especially Miami, had later starts and less resources and usurped Florida.

I also dont think this convo is about a successful program but why isn’t a program better than they are.

In the past, Riley said if a program wants to be elite, it has to be elite in all aspects. USC isn’t there yet in recruiting. So as the Trojans move to a tougher conference with hopes and aspirations of joining the sport’s upper echelon, they need to reach their best. Fast.
Riley will have to do some soul-searching. He’s never gone through adversity like this in a market like Los Angeles. The defensive coordinator hire is probably the most important of his career to date.
The offense has to be retooled. The special teams have to improve. The personnel has to get better, especially on the line of scrimmage as USC moves to the Big Ten. The fundamentals, like blocking and tackling, are obviously lacking. And the team has a long way to go in physicality.

If Alabama beats Georgia and don't make the playoff, the AP needs to give them a natty

Interesting

I didn’t think there was a chance in hell that Alabama would be left out IF we beat #1 Georgia but since nobody ahead wants to lose, it’s becoming more like, the thought of a CFP with no SEC teams in it is wild :pachaha:

Now obviously none of what I said matters if UGA throttles us in Atlanta in 2 weeks, it’s gonna take one of the best performances in the history of the program to beat em.
