Where Mbappe and Haaland going? Madrid is a wonderful club but what is the long term vision? The entire midfield 3 are on their way out, Camavinga got next but they need more.
valverde main opsition is mid field so gonna be Cama/Valverde/Tchou? then upfrton vini-#9 they need to find-Vini

You're either bias or an ignorant idiot if a prime Barcelona of previous years and Real Madrid were competing in the English League the table would read like this:
Barcelona/Real Madrid 1 and 2.

And the rest...

Spanish have been dominating both the Champions League and the Europa league for decades.

Once again, easy to dominate when you playing Eibar every week and wrap your league up in march and april. Yes I watched Barca run circles around Sir Alex's United side.

But with that being said you think this Madrid team finishes first in the Premier league and then also wins the champions league? I doubt.

He needs to replace Naby :yeshrug:

He needs to add that rough dimension to the team or he will have similar (but less pronounced) problems to Wenger.

Teams are not always going to play ball. Real came to frustrate. Like SAF used to do to Arsenal or Jose's chelsea used to do to everyone (except Rafa).

Klopp didn't know what to do.

Like SAF didn't know what to do in the 2009 and esp. 2011 finals.

Look at how Newcastle physically dominated Arsenal the other day. It is that roughhouse element that is missing from your (and Citeh's btw) squads.

Naby ain't gonna make it and I bet Klopp starts to make hard decisions to shake up the squad and better prepare them for the future.

Henderson and Thiago are not the future and Fabinho just came back from injury. The fact that even under those circumstances Naby could not be trusted to start this game tells you all you need to know about whether Klopp thinks that he is of the required standard.
Naby just getting started, before this season Kloppo didn’t seem to trust him :mjcry: second half of the season he’s played more big games than not and there’s been a few times he’s played Naby in a 2 man midfield which is the ultimate trust :wow:

Thiago started because it would make no sense to use him as a sub and have to waste 2 subs if he couldn’t go, he nearly didn’t make it

I think we see much more of the dream mf of Fab/Thiago/Naby next season and it will be :banderas:

I agree we could have more roughhouse element, cynical roughhouse call it what you want :manny: it’s not how Kloppo wants to play but he can be pragmatic, nine changes against Southampton shows he can. I think nikkas underestimate the toll it’s took from January just to be in this position. Young Curtis and Harvey should hopefully be able to take some of the burden off next season, I’m especially hoping to see Curtis take the leap he should have this season if he didn’t have the weird injuries and covid but I do think a midfielder needs brought in this summer to help and have 5 first choice players he can rotate instead of 4 cause we’ve seen it’s not sustainable and like you say Hendo and Thiago ain’t getting any younger.

If he thinks Curtis and Harvey can plug the gap until man like Jude comes in 023 I can live with that

Not barcelona. And RM has a massive gap until 1998.

Before then it was the UK, Italy and a mix of smaller nations (incl. NL) + Germany winning.

Barca won their first CL in 1992 and only had one until 2006 (i.e. the age of messi/Pep)

Tchou is official?

Vini is the future but they gotta replace Benz, which is a tough ask. Very intelligent and selfless player.
Why you only start posting in here after we lost coward :jbhmm:

Naby just getting started:wow:

Naby has been at Pool for what? 4 years I think. If he was gonna start he would have done so by now.
When Klopp buys 1 or even 2 midfielders and phases Naby out don't take it too hard.
I am aware of what Klopp says but he is the manager and has to say that.
Keep an eye on what he does.

I agree.

Bruno and Joelinton would have been good options.
Watch them tear up the prem next season :francis: .

I do :mjpls:

Availability has been an issue no doubt :mjpls:

But even though I think it’s been one of his few faults in Kloppo not trusting him I can also see the difference in this season :mjpls:

Kloppo realized his mistake by not starting Naby against Citeh in the league and corrected that in the semi and was rewarded with a MOTM performance :mjpls: You were calling for him to be subbed at halftime vs Villareal :mjpls: Kloppo kept the faith and was rewarded :mjpls:

Let’s revisit this next season I’m confident that Naby will start more often than not :mjpls:

My guy, even teams like Atleti, Villarreal, Valencia cause PL teams problems every time they meet. Aside from City and Liverpool, the rest of the teams in the PL are a non factor in European football. I'll add Chelsea to that last when they get back to their previous level.

This new champions league format and the winter world cup is surely to fukk up football for the coming year(s).

edit: You can seemingly throw in any Spanish side into the Uefa Cup and they're sure to make a finals run, Spanish clubs got both competitions on lock. I remember that one year the Uefa Cup final was Espanyol vs Sevilla :dead:

Espanyol didn't lose a game in regulation that entire run:dead:
