Had the toughest road to the final, maybe ever.

Man Utd had a group with Bayern and Barca and had to play Inter and Juve on the way to the final where they had to play Bayern again. I am sure there have been other difficult paths too.

United didn't lose a single match.

Stop with the coli #hottakes

Madrid this year lost to Chelsea, City and PSG and had these two in their group (a group in which Real lost yet another match).

klopp is missing something in finals. whereas ancelotti is missing something when it comes to winning leagues.
klopp can go back to the drawing board and add something to his team and strategies.
it's gonna be hard because of the pace that citeh set.
all of this goes to show how hard it is to do the real treble.

in 1999 man utd had to play bayern, barca and juve on the way to winning. united had to defeat arsenal (under wenger) in the league and fa cup too.
and in 1999 man utd didn't lose a single CL game IIRC.
klopp is like a better wenger.
sometimes you need to drop your principles and win dirty by any means and wenger refused to do that.
klopp needs to add that to his skillset.
Honestly, I'm not sure what else Klopp could've tried.

It's especially difficult when the league goes down to the final match day, against City no less. Something that no other club seems to be close to right now.

He'll never touch the CL trophy as long as he stays in PSG :manny:

Madrid deserve the trophy. Had the toughest road to the final, maybe ever. They literally beat all the favorites lol. You can never count them out. They do need inject some fresh blood into that midfield tho.
They have camavinga and theyre bringing in Tchouameni, they'll be fine

pool need to score scrappy goals.

like the goals that won the CL in 1999.

or the Inter smash and grab first goal against LvG in 2010 CL final.

a "drogba" if you will.

liverpool's attackers are small and were not a physical or an aerial threat. they couldn't roughhouse a goal.

-

also saf used to sacrifice competiions to focus on the big ones.

he played the kids in the europa league.

he skipped the FA cup once to go lie on the beach.

I feel you.

I kinda wanna see a 4231 in hopes there can be more midfield creativity for the wingers with an AM sitting behind them.
