This dude really only wants to play for Houston. Never heard of a prospect ghosting the team with the top overall pick. And he’s made it clear he doesn’t want to be in OKC.

And Silas doesn’t want Chet becaue he wants to start competing and feel Chet is a major project

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
If you could get brogdon for cheap then go for it but if you’re paying for him heavily via trade I’m not sure it’s worth on it based on how much games he misses

He’s a good player but if he’s only good for 40-50 games at most he’s not worth it

Terrible logic and gming if they think they can compete already. Chet will be gone anyway imo he's the best prospect in the draft

I would probably have to say a trade up with the Pelicans at 8 for Kevin Huerter is probably the most likely of moves for the Hawks. Guarantees Sharpe, Daniels, or Mathurin will be there. Gives the Pels a starting SG who can shoot lights out and a perfect fit next to C.J. and Brandon. Kevin on an elite contract and Atlanta almost got a 1st and Hart for Kevin till the Blazers traded C.J. to New Orleans.

Not sure what Portland will do. They might trade down with Atlanta for JC but I am not 100% sure at this moment.

Sacramento for Ivey is clearly a target for us. Not sure if we can land 4th overall. We will see.

Ayton and Gobert are still our top targets outside of the draft.

The options for starting PG IS SLIM. Brogdon ain't a stud but good enough to get you to the playoffs which is what Washington and NY wants to do.

I don’t think compete like in deep playoff run but Silas has his career in the line. He doesn’t want to keep being a top 3 lottery team.
