One thing i dont get is when people say
“Kings cant draft ivey because they got fox”
When ivey played as a combo guard…and can play SG…
Detroit has PG already…pacers have haliburton at PG….so why can those teams pick him but the kings shouldnt

Because the kings just traded a guard last year because they want to commit to fox, now they want to draft another guard to be in the same situation again?

Both haliburton and mitchell played good…monte has drafted well and his a BPA guy….so it goes to murray or ivey…shyt even if u dont want ivey id draft him and make detrout or the pacers cough up some picks or player
The kings traded haliburton for sabonis who was ballin and they shyt him down at the end for better draft odds…

It's not so much that they can't, but in order for the pairing to work successfully, Ivey is gonna have to become a high volume shooter from 3 since Fox doesn't appear to ever become good in that department. That's a team wide problem and if Ivey isn't gonna be much more of a shooter than say Barnes (who may inevitably be out the door soon enough), who's gonna shoot from outside?
Size and outside shooting is gonna be more important than finding a running mate for Fox when they can just use Mitchell alongside Fox and see what happens. Their best skills will be negated if all they can do is kick it out to someone from mid range.

Ivey and Fox skills overlap too much. Lightning quick guards that can’t shoot. Can’t see Ivey as NBA pg, not a good enough passer. Cade and Haliburton are huge versatile PGs that can play with anyone.
I hear yall but last time the kings passed up a player for worry of fit was when vlade picked bagley over luka…the new gm was under daryl morrey years ago

Ivey is not a PG he is a two, but he needs the ball in his hands as much as fox.
I know which is why im confused when people say the kings cant take him…but im guessn they sayn hes not the best shooter
It’s more so ivey doesn’t want to go there also
If I’m the kings I take ivey and figure that shut out later
