Does watching shaky handle Tatum and Brown make you rethink the long term projections of guys that "just need to tighten up their handle"

Because they both improved a lot, but this league exposes all weakness over time

Tatum finishing was a bigger issue to me than his handle. He finishes soft and isn't good enough with his variety of lay up angles (or that floater) to be as finesse as he is. Towards the back end of the series, he was just dead legged and couldn't get past Wigs, handle be damned.

That Celtics series is an example of guys both being tired and being asked to do things they shouldn't be. Tatum and Brown mentally shouldn't be tasked to be primary initiators, esp Brown. There's a spectrum between non-ball handler and Trae/Chris Paul, and JB is somewhere in the middle.

As far as Jabari goes, I think he should be able to be where JB is now at dribbling in less years. Primary factor being, he knows and has known his game when it came to offense for years now. He's looking to expand on an already NBA-translatable skillset while Jaylen was still sketching his out

Yes and no. Looking at the finals he could have played some minutes in it but he can’t score right now so it’s almost all projecting on that end accept some flashes of play making
