Christian Braun projected as a late first round or early second but I think he’s top a 20 player in the draft. I think he’ll be super solid in the league

Givony just came out with his latest mock on ESPN: 2022 NBA mock draft: Shaking up the first round after Nuggets-OKC trade

Notable movers:
  • Bennedict Mathurin moves up to #6
  • Shaedon Sharpe moves down to #8
  • Johnny Davis seems like a lock at #10 (Wasserman from B/R said yesterday Davis is connected to the Wiz at #10)
  • Walker Kessler moves up to #19
  • Tyty slides down to #21
  • Jaden Hardy moves up to #23
  • EJ Liddell moves up to #25
  • Jake LaRavia moves up to #28
  • David Roddy moves up to #30
Christian Braun, Trevor Keels, Bryce McGowens and PBJ all move into the 2nd round.

Biggest bust, Dyson Daniels. Doesn't really do anything at a high level. Getting buzz off the rising stars game and supposedly growing to 6'8. had a small sample where he shot better after the all star break. You draft him high and I think you're going to be disappointed. He'll probably play for a while, but I don't see him as a star.

Biggest surprise is gonna be Jaden Hardy. The g league ignite experience dropped his stock significantly but if he gets drafted in the 20s to a good team, he's going to be a good position to contribute to a good team right away. That g league ignite team was horribly coached and constructed. Just the worst group of vets and g leaguers that they could've surrounded the kids with. If he went to college or OTE, he would've been top 10.
I actually like MarJon the best on that team but him being 22 is going to lead to his stock taking a hit.

If okc got Jalen Duren at 13 they could be very competitive in a few years

I see Robert Williams as Durens floor

I want nothing to do with Jake LaRavia on the Warriors

I feel like that happens almost every draft the Raps have gone through. Someone with name value falls and Masai just takes someone nobody expects instead. The only time he's picked someone who fell was OG.

I could see guys like Jaden Hardy and PBJ falling and Masai picks someone like Moussa Diabete instead
Trevion Williams would make alot of sense for them, but I've given up on talking myself into wanting draft prospects with Masai

Masai usually ends up being right anyways :manny:

My Pops Forever RIP
He fit that squad like a glove, plus I think the Kings take Keegan.
That Born Jamericans lookin motherfukker is as bland as that team. I also just don't like where that would lead them.

They need a forward. A legit forward. Keegan Murray fits what they need. Johnny Davis adds to their clusterfukk at guard.

If I were them I'd shop Duarte if this is what they wanna do. Don't draft a 24 year old when a long rebuild is staring you in the face.
