Per Woj: JaMychal Green and a 2027 first to OKC for #30 and 2 future 2's.

My take: at least we can stop lying to ourselves that Caleb Houstan had a draft promise in round 1.

If he doesn't have a promise, I wouldn't be shocked if he went undrafted. He was so bad for Canada at the U19s and followed it by looking the exact same all year (outside of very brief flashes here and there)

All time bonehead move to stay in the draft if there's no promise. Also potentially an all time bonehead move for a team if they gave him a promise,

Worked out for the Raptors (#33) last week too. I think he just wanted to skip the athletic testing so he wouldn't tank his stock further like Patrick Baldwin Jr did

David Roddy supposedly had a great workout for the Nuggets and he said the Nuggets gave him lots of compliments, he might be their guy at 30

@Box Factory Leonard Miller has decided to pull out and join the G League Ignite instead. Good move. He gets to play #2 option next to Scoot

Did exactly what we suggested he do.

The talk was that OKC might snag him up (at 34 they can still do it) but I had him mid to late 2nd at best.

Remember last year how we thought Sharife Cooper was a lock to go in that 17-24 range only for him to fall to 48? That's gonna happen a few times in this draft. I'm every bit as confident in Baldwin slipping into the 50's like Brandon Boston as I am with him getting reached on in the 20s.

This draft is going to be extremely unpredictable. I think after 8 or 9, we're gonna have a bunch of situations where highly touted guys are going to fall like crazy while you see a bunch of relatively unknown guys getting drafted way above their projected draft slots.
This will bold well for Chicago then.

Teams are doing private workouts for guys mocked in the second round. I legit think this draft is weaker than normal and teams are scrambling trying to find talent worth a guaranteed contract. A few teams got two or three picks in this weak draft too.

:manny: I’m starting to fall in love with the Knicks taking Malaki Branham. If all signs are true and they will replace Mitchell Robinson with Mo bamba then a solid three point shooting guard who can stretch the floor out more will be nice to have.

I like Johnny davis but 30.8 from three is a red flag.
