Stroud has the physical talent, and has grown a lot up stairs too, i still wonder what happens when you really take away his fast ball (first read) will he still struggle in his progressions(i realize one of his plays he did that but the next read was right there). He’s not about to get challenged again til maybe Iowa, then the usual big east gauntlet may provide more data, also not having the security blanket in smith may have made things a bit hairy for him early on, while he’s on the mend and the schedule kind of light, he will get some chemistry with the other guys

I don’t think nd had the horses to push them, what i did see was nd was getting to the qb with there four man line.
I also noticed day finally spammed the run game late because of the struggle to get the offense moving, and that defense kicked up a notch ( mind you i couldn’t tell you the first nd standout offensive player)
Stroud is one of the best at going through his progression as well as anticipation on his throws. His accuracy was off the 1st half of the game which is uncharacteristic. Chemistry with the new receivers was off a bit too. There was a play where Emeka should have sat down in the zone but kept moving towards the sidelines and Stroud ended up throwing behind him. JSN being out these next couple games is really a blessing in disguise because these young receivers will get that extra work with Stroud. As far as the running game goes, Day has always been a pass 1st guy. He needs to run the ball 1st and it will make the passing game open up even more. The next Challenge will be Wisky in our B1G opener. Oh and @Sauce Dab i don’t fall for the . Just negged every last one of them bozos and kim. Im the original shyt starter on this board:myman:.

I don't understand the NOT going for two...

So you have to win the game right...You are on the 2-3 yard line one play to win...Why play for overtime when you want to get back to the same spot with the same chance? and then you have the momentum and all that....

Desmond and Pollack don't know shyt either, so he'll fit right in. I just hope this means they are phasing out Corso for him
For real though Corso dementia kicking in bad so far this year. Hard to watch. This needs to be his last year. They might do a farewell year for him next year.

I’ll say he’s grown, again he’s not going to get extremely tested til maybe Iowa and the east portion of his schedule, I’ll be tuning in to see, yes day is a pass to run kind of guy, that’s going to cost him some good rbs if he keeps that up, but he’s also gotta feed the wr room, will be interesting how he finds his balance

Yes jsn being out will force chemistry with other wrs

nah i'm saying he literally doesn't know whos good and whos bad or any players...not just terrible opinions like the pundits yall brought up. It would be like one of us suddenly being on a Champions League pregame show panel. He knows the sport but wouldn't be able to tell you shyt about Pitt vs. WVU and he went to WVU :heh:

gonna be fun though :hubie:
