I when first read that A&M lined up 25-30 million in NIL deal for their recruiting class a few weeks ago, I knew it was cap and message board ducktales
Not saying they don't use NIL money, but that amount was ridiculous for players who never stepped foot on campus. Almost 1 million per recruit
they got it, especially with gas prices being what they are, they really got it, and don’t they also have some tech money now
@Lucky_Lefty ?? But they have it
There's not a single alumni/fanbase that can match A&M dollar for dollar. And its not even close. I believe the hell outta that 25-30 million number. Now, is it sustainable for an every year type deal? Probably not. But to jumpstart their NIL? Hell yea.
the funny thing is it’s been said the “money” told A&M they infact can’t sustain that level, so I’m guessing they have spent way more than that 30 set aside
We ain't gonna talk about this?
wasn’t he the whistleblower?? And at this point they in no man’s land, not sure when the ncaa is going to come knocking and how hard they will bring the hammer. They thought they had a chance to make noise in the south, given what they had, but with that sleeping giant in Compton waking up, that window is shut, so they riding this out with herm til the storm is over, so i imagine everyone is jumping ship if they can
I'd be willing to bet (like somebody else already said) .. Fisher wont be able to manage all those personalities. shyts gonna blow up in their faces.
i think he can, he managed that 2013 fsu team, the biggest issue is keeping all that talent, and making the moves to actually turn this into something, having talent alone can have you run through 85-90% of the competition, but balls in jimbos court to put up in the next 2-3 years if he can keep the talent together
There is something really nefarious they're running from beyond additional workouts
They are a lame duck program riding the storm out, the most they did was trying to get more practice in….apparently it didn’t help
Their qb has regressed, after a great start, they have got some guys drafted but, not numbers, they aren’t keeping talent in state, and they really bout to fall behind
