What kind of excuses are they making for white Mike falling behind Miami and UF in this years class?

Even the biggest fans of Mike have to admit its not a good sign that those two new head coaches only had about two months and he still finishes behind them. And Cristobal doesn't even had full staff no less.

I when first read that A&M lined up 25-30 million in NIL deal for their recruiting class a few weeks ago, I knew it was cap and message board ducktales

Not saying they don't use NIL money, but that amount was ridiculous for players who never stepped foot on campus. Almost 1 million per recruit

Not saying they don't use NIL money, but that amount was ridiculous for people who never stepped foot on campus.

There's not a single alumni/fanbase that can match A&M dollar for dollar. And its not even close. I believe the hell outta that 25-30 million number. Now, is it sustainable for an every year type deal? Probably not. But to jumpstart their NIL? Hell yea.

It's gonna be the same story. #MikeGotUs ... Don't you see the improvement? Jermaine Johnson gonna be a 1st rounder...he's a portal god. I get tired of the excuse making bruh but this what they're attaching their hopes to so hope it work out for them cause I don't see it. He's a motivational speaker masquerading as a P5 HC.

I'd understand if he had coaches who could COACH on staff but nah, he got all of his friends which is one excuse used to fire the last HC. Also...

Like hell it won't. They have a level of "want to/by any means" mixed w/ delusion that only a few programs can match. If they can foot the bill for Jimbo's entire contract then NIL deals will be like Bill Gates losing a quarter b/w some sofa cushions.

I honestly haven't seen or heard of any Aggies coaches out working the field visiting recruits. They were closing on 5 star defensive players with no defensive coach. I ain't hating, but they bought that class.

It's not ducktales. They created a LLC backed by 30 million. Not all of that is going to recruits this year. It's supposed to play out like a yearly salary so they won't transfer.

Word is Leebeus Overton - #1 DL in the country for 2023 out of Alpharetta, Georgia is going to re-classify to '22 and commit to A&M shortly.
