Florida for me

MSU, black head coach, winning big ten is 10x easier than winning SEC.

UF has the highest ceiling but their titles came with Urban who was a top 2 CFB coach of the last 30 years. Since then they’ve been up & down and the SEC is the SEC…their biggest rival (is UGA biggest rival?) just won a national title.

PSU gonna get tired of Franklin underachieving every year and he’ll be out. PSU has been masquerading as an elite program since the 90s. Idk how they go 7-6 with top 5-10 classes year in and out.

ISU coach will bounce eventually.

The biggest issue is despite the money being thrown around, are they using that on recruiting, have not seen a lot of 4 stars sign up for a 3-4 year tour of duty in east Lansing, and he still has that boogyman in Columbus he has to exercise, yeah raiding the portal is cool for a couple pieces, but it’s not sustainable and unpredictable

i agree with most of your psu takes, Franklin is starting to slide into he’s stealing money territory, which I’m not mad at fukk Penn st

It took Harbaugh 8 years and a OSU team infected with influenza for him to finally get that win. Let’s not play that card just yet for Tucker.

2021 class Tucker only had about 3 months to compile and most have transferred out. I can’t really fault him on that. He had to make connects virtually with recruits that Dantonio half assed recruited.

2022 Tucker signed or has committed 6 4* and it’s our first top 20 class in 5* years.

2023 he has 2 4* commitments already.

he’s in on some 5* guys and has made some top 10 lists of 5* guys so we’ll see how it pans out. We haven’t inked a 5* since 2014 so if nothing else we’re due lol

Do I expect him to routinely pull in top 5 classes? No, that’s very unlikely to nearly impossible. He’s being paid like he’s expected to bring in those type of classes, but a lot of that payout is due to the leverage Tucker held once LSU came sniffing around and MSU didn’t want a repeat of Saban. (Not saying Tucker is the next Saban obviously).

Well i guess time will tell, and in these times, we are seeing schools who have had the faucet shut, all of a sudden open that thang up, i see some coaching moves made, but i wonder is it sustainable and able to spread sec to all facets of the program. I also wonder will the expectations be greater than what one can normally do in east Lansing despite the money being up

this tale keeps getting taller every post, but with the money they are giving they expecting it, and msu won’t ever get osu’s best shot because it’s not the same, and they may not be true to form by time their game comes
