There’s nothing to take notes on. Football is the more popular sport but Basketball players will always be more known than football players.
Nah football recruiting and football in general is much more popular. The players just aren't taking advantage of social media(esp TikTok) the same way bball players are. All they have to do is post their highlights and be active with all the current TikTok challenges and shyt that's all it would take to get a million+ followers.

Even the top college QB's like Bryce, Stroud, etc aren't taking advantage of social media like they could. They are definitely more popular than all of those bball recruits with millions of TikTok followers

I've had a rivals subscription since 2006 and I finally had to make the switch to on3 a few months ago. That NIL valuation tool is going to put a lot of kids in physical danger and imo is unnecessary .
The founder of On3 is the same guy who started Rivals and 24/7. Shannon Terry

I ain’t need a podcast to tell me this, but I heard one that was comparing how many media outlets basketball players created for themselves and how much they get to alter their nature vs the NFL. Even Odell, who prolly the most transcendent media personality in that sport, was getting fried for the last few years

It’s not rocket science basketball players benefit from the AAU circuit and people who are fascinated with finding the next big thing in middle school. I use to be one those people looking up freshman rankings and shyt

I'm just talking about social media followers. Basketball players are just taking advantage of TikTok and football players aren't for whatever reason. That's what it comes down to

If you think it’s much more popular, you’re insane or are only thinking from your point of view. For one, how is it gonna be much more popular if there ain’t a football equivalent to shyt like Ballislife or Overtime that got their foundations following HS basketball recruits. How are basketball recruits amassing more followers if football recruiting is more popular

the average person who follows football recruiting does it more ardently than someone with basketball, I’ll give you that. I wouldn’t even say it’s more money in it anymore with shyt like Overtime Elite, G-League, other straight from high school offerings now en vogue with basketball.
