To my knowledge, coaches weren’t really looking for him to be qb, and that’s why he ended up perhaps at Louisville, because he had offers from all over, and don’t quote me but i think Louisville was the first to offer him as the qb so he stuck with them, probably got a check too but you catch my drift



But perhaps his rigidity to his system made it a hard fit, so it didn’t work out

Lord knows he could have used him because they were piece milling at the qb position til frenchy, then frenchy got hurt and got Hollywood

No and no…Jimbo wasn’t gonna “dumb down” his system for no one. Blackman is exhibit A. Not talented but there were certain things he could/couldn’t do and Jimbo refused to tailor the offense toward those strengths. He just cut the playbook down to 60%.
