they played in A LOT of citrus, outback, and gator bowlsThey were Clemson. Funny how the schools are like an hour and a half away from each other.
Always had talent, but never could put it together consistently. Also winning chips damn near right after each other in the early 80s too.
Now tho....
Clemson loved the fukkin Gator Bowl.
But their problem wasn't talent. They'd just fukkup and lose bad games at the worst times. Same as UGA.
Gator, citrus, and peach were like the clemson, georgia, and Tennessee invitational
