I have been hesitant to report this, as things that are news often go awry very quickly in coaching search circles. But Inside the Rebels has confirmation from one coach and two current players that Lane Kiffin told his team tonight that he was returning as the head coach of the Ole Miss Rebels. As we have maintained all along, we don't know what Lane will do. However, we do believe these sources are telling us the truth. What we don't know is if this is another attempt to bat the ball back over to the Auburn side of the fence to see what happens. The best we can say right now is just stay tuned. There may not be a coaching search at Ole Miss after all. There still might be, but there might not.
It blows my mind how these coaches get overrated when another school expresses the interest in them. Jimbo ran FSU into the ground but because LSU and 4&8 wanted him he started to be viewed as something he was notKiffin going to get fukking PAID off this shyt

You get what you have the leverage to negotiate, and they parlayed a good to great season into a come up because of the circumstances at the time. One day on one of them Podcast we did we touched on that but we should dive deeper. I’m not here to give Jimbo any passes, but until recently 5 qbs drafted, 1 nc as a HC, 1 as an oc, the issue is TAMU fukked themselves twice, they gave him a crazy contract with no built in control or parameters, then doubled down with no need, his offense is real nfl ready, but if it’s too complicated and not netting you any good results, it’s time to switch it up, maybe even get a young oc to inject some spice in the offense, but he has all the chips and all the pride, so who’s going to blink firstIt blows my mind how these coaches get overrated when another school expresses the interest in them. Can’t be going tempo and not getting tdsole miss just stalling out
Complete fraudLeach be lookin lost af out on the sidelines
I wouldn’t say that, but the games has caught up with him, also has not hit on a qb, in a perfect world he’s your oc, or analyst if this doesn’t work that will be his fate unless he does like sunbelt or something, he’d probably thrive thereComplete fraud
He has been head coach for 22 years. During that time:I wouldn’t say that, but the games has caught up with him, also has not hit on a qb, in a perfect world he’s your oc, or analyst if this doesn’t work that will be his fate unless he does like sunbelt or something, he’d probably thrive there
