If Orlando had lucked up and gotten Kuminga, oh my God. really good night for them and if y'all think they're gonna be ass again next year, well they'll be in the Chet sweepstakes.

Charlotte got a steal in Bouknight. I'm not as high on Kai Jones, but I understand the logic.

WTF is San Antonio doing?

Chicago had no business drafting Ayo. I don't know what scouts want from him.

Clippers made a lot of the few assets they had. Good night for them.


Golden State is pretty much in the same position they were pre-draft, which is not a bad thing if they're still lurking in the weeds for a star.

NY had a weird night but honestly, the trade downs netted comparable value (I hate the Charlotte trade for them). They did what NFL teams did.

I was saying in the Bulls thread that it seems like a depth selection. He's another combo guard with questionable decision making and he's a month older than Coby White.

Could be signaling that Coby is going to be used as a piece they move depending on how Ayo looks and who they sign at PG in free agency (Lonzo?). Just looking at Ayo and Coby tho... they seem very comparable, but I think Ayo is projected to be a better defender with his 6'11 wingspan. I was indifferent around the pick, but he's a 1st round talent in most any other draft so I can't be too mad at it, however it did strike me as redundant cause they seem to be the same player lol

Billy likes running 3 guard lineups, and all these dudes are 6'5+... I think Coby may be available but I don't think them drafting Ayo means they'll jettison him out ASAP.

Rachel Nichols was sitting on a stool the entire night side eyeing Taylor Rooks who was nearby doing her thing. A lot of of the green room guys either tried to skip talking to Nichols altogether or went to Rooks or NBATV first.

Her ass isn't big at all.


There were less people there than I can remember. Normally the draft stays with a bunch of prospects who don't get invited to the green room but bought tickets for the fam and are in the crowd. Not this year. Casualty of covid and the late summer.

They gotta do something about how the picks are announced. Fans are gonna start yelling out the picks before Silver says it and fukk it up for the players.
