I know this is going to come off like hating, but I dont get the Degrom is Degoat talk. The man has had an amazing stretch to start the year but he's literally led the league in ERA once and WHIP zero times. Great pitcher but goat? Seems like a prisoner of the moment knee jerk response.

Also, maybe its not the sticky stuff...but are we seriously not suspicious of a guy in his age 33 season showing out like this? 100, 101, 102mph. Seems off, thats all.

I dont necessarily disagree with you but he is also top 5 WHIP all time and a career ERA of 2.5 which is better than just about every SP in the modern era if Im not mistaken.

I know. Dude has been great. But his workload has been light. 33 years old with around 1200 innings total. Just saying, he has a long way to go to be considered among the all time greats to me, let alone the goat....and what are the chances he keeps improving at his age?
