Jimmy Johnson is not walking thru those doors :yeshrug:. Plus I don't think Miami has the money compared to other big time schools to compete consistently in today's game.

They got money the admin not getting behind the football like that, they’d rather people think of the great education you get from Miami, but no one will ever think that, kids either go there or they don’t, so it will forever be in the state they are, also with the Shapiro shyt I’m sure that scared the off the book supporters on top of they president being a world class :francis:

Exactly no one is ever going to put a Florida school in the same class with Michigan, Berkley or Texas academically.

Miami as a private school has always been like that so the football program will never have enough funds compared to the others in their class. Plus their bad history with boosters will keep them behind the ball unless they get desperate for cash and start turning a blind eye again (I don't think this would be as bad now because of NIL). They could get a good coaching staff who can recruit and develop the in state talent and they would be better than what they are now. But then they would have to eventually pay for it and would most likely decline it for a cheaper option and go back to being mediocre.

It feels like Bo Nix has been in college longer than I've been alive. Is this mufukka a senior yet :heh:
QBs like him set your program back. You’re stuck with him as starter no matter what, so you can’t recruit a new qb and everybody else transfers out. But he ain’t good enough to go pro, so you stuck with him

to be honest they don’t even look at Michigan or Texas like that, you ask the avg cat that isn’t aware of the notoriety of these programs (Miami, mich, and Texas) they won’t know you actually get a reputable degree from there, and that’s just public perception, they will never break these perceptions, but some people will fight hard to try and change that but it is futile
